TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All bookings are accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions.
If you are booking direct with us on the telephone or through our website, we will require a non-refundable deposit of £100/110 euros per week. This is required with each booking to secure the cottage. Fully payment to be received by six weeks before the start of your holiday. If you are booking less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday then the full payment is required at time of booking. Late payment for any reason will entitle us to re-let the properties for those periods.
Security Deposit :
We require a security deposit of £100/100 euros per week against damage or liability. This will be required on arrival and be returned to you two weeks after you have returned home, if all is ok with the cottage. (It is easier for you to bring a cheque with you, which can be destroyed when we know there is no damage to the cottage).
If we need to cash the cheque and make a deduction we will explain why. Deductions will be made for damage. Repairs of damage will be carried out by qualified workmen and the costs of parts and labour will be deducted from your deposit.
You are expected to leave the property in the same condition and state of cleanliness as you find it. If extra cleaning is needed we will deduct the cost from your deposit.
We will not enter into disputes or negotiations.
If for any reason we have to cancel your reservation then all monies paid, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.
Cancellation by you :
If you have to cancel your reservation prior to the full payment at six weeks the deposit will be forfeited.
If you cancel within the six weeks prior to the start date then a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged. If, however, it is possible to re-let the period booked then a full refund will be given, except for the £100/100 euros per week deposit.
Your acceptance of this booking is also acceptance that children will be accompanied by an adult at all times in the swimming pool area and of your responsibility to lock the gate of the swimming pool area after you use it. Please Note - Our Pool - Our Rules. No children can be left unattended around the pool.
You must respect the right of other guests and neighbours and avoid anything which might be a nuisance to other people.
Your children are your responsibility and must be under your control at all times.
Letting periods commence from 4pm on the date of arrival and finish at 10am on the date of departure.
Any damages should be notified to the owners and paid for prior to departure,
The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc. since these are not covered by he owners insurance.
Smoking is not permitted in the Gites.
Note, the swimming pool is exclusively for the use of paying guests of La Hallotière.
Our Responsibilities :
Everything possible will be done to maintain the high standard of the cottages, the pool and site in general. Should an unforeseen circumstance arise, over which the owners have little or no control, the owners will do everything reasonable to correct the situation. In the unlikely event that such a situation should occur, the owners do not accept any form of responsibility and therefore no claims can be made against them.
