This was our 7th stay in Le Gite at La Hallotiere and as always, it was just perfect. We just love the peace and quiet in the middle of the Normandy countryside. Neil & Chris were fabulous hosts as always and we loved the visits from the chickens, the duck that thinks it's a chicken and of course the 2 kitties. Thank you to Neil & Chris for making our stay so lovely and we highly recommend La Hallotiere to anyone wanting their own piece of heaven xx
Lovely comfortable weekend Thank you for making us feel welcome
Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting friends nearby. Lovely setting and great hosts, especially when they opened the bar after a long journey down! Really quiet area for a bit of chilling out.
Many thanks to Neil and Christine for being very warm and welcoming hosts. Loved the peaceful surroundings, just what we needed after a very stressful few months. We will recommend you to all our friends! Thank you from the four of us,
We have all enjoyed a lovely week in Stone House, made even more enjoyable by a week of beautiful sunshine. Finlay used the pool everyday either before or after days out in the surrounding area. We used the BBQ several evenings and sat drinking wine watching the sun go down. The croquet lawn was certainly entertaining and different. Neil and Christine were the perfect hosts, making sure we had everything required and informative on where to visit, eat etc. We couldn't wish for more.
Arrived 26th July to a lovely welcome from Neil and Christine and a wonderful cottage called Stone House. We have been to quite a few places, Festyland - good for kidsd up to about 12/13 yrs. Mont St. Michel is well worth a visit and Alligator Bay near the bottom is an enjoyable diversion. Villedieu les Poeles is a really nice town. The Bayeaux Tapestry and Memorial Museum are a must. Lots of lovely villages around. Good Pizzeria in Brecey. A great time had by all. The girls (2 x 13 years old) didn't want to leave and neither did we. Thank you Neil and Christine for being kind hosts.
